About Us
Tazkiyah Academy is a weekend Islamic school based in Milton Ontario, Canada.
With the blessings of Allah (swt), and the unwavering support from parents, it was officially registered in 2016 and has experienced remarkable growth ever since.
Our Mission

Enrich the students' hearts with the love of their creator, Allah, the love of the Quran and the love of the Prophets.

Nurturing them into adulthood with true and deep understanding of the Quran and Sunnah, and help them to create their own balanced personality, and ensure a positive character building in order to make them Allah conscious, a Responsible Muslim, Successful in both worlds, a Contributing citizen, and a Respectful Human Being.

Produce students of knowledge whose hearts are filled with love and full trust on Allah. Who are true representatives of the Muslim Ummah and who will be of benefit to all mankind.

Our Journey
-
2016: Rented local Secondary School and conducted 3 Friday evening classes for children ages 5-10

2016-2017: Expanded our Friday evening classes to a total of 8 classes for students ages 5-18

2018: Introduced a class for ladies on Friday evenings

2018-2019: Conducted march camp during march break

2019: Introduced an all new session for teen girls which is still being conducted

2020: Due to COVID-19, we started to conduct the classes online. Thus we had students register from around the world

2020-2021: Conducted online summer camp for children

2020: Began incorporating Qira'atul Quran competitions, other competitions, masjid fundraisers, student magazine showcasing their creativity and fund raised for causes and other community initiatives in our classes

2021: Introduced ladies tafseer class

2021: Started our Sunday in-person classes in our new local Masjid in Milton

2021: Introduced our online "ramadan camp" for children which teaches them about Ramadan, during the month of Ramadan

2022-2023: In-person summer camp for children
